Lambeth Community Research Network
A partnership of Lambeth community organisations, collaborating to make research work for our communities.
As a network of locally rooted organisations with an interest and expertise in community-based research, we aim to ensure that research taking place in Lambeth is ethical, high-quality and action-focused. We believe that research should directly lead to positive change for local communities and meaningfully include their knowledge and experience in the research process.
Network membership is free for all local voluntary community sector organisations, academics and research bodies who share our values. The work of the network is overseen by the Lambeth Community Research Network Steering Group.
What is community-based research?
Community-based research is grounded in the needs of the local communities and the community-based organisations which serve them. It enables community members to highlight areas of concern, identify topics that matter to them and contribute to research which drives long lasting, positive social change.
We welcome members from Lambeth-based voluntary and community sector organisations, academics and research organisations with an interest in community research.
If you are a local public body or stakeholder who is interested in working with us, please get in touch.
Our research bank brings together research relevant to communities based in Lambeth. It includes research reports, insights and academic papers.
